(Q – Doctor Jones: I am one of the very old ones of the golden owl.)
MB : Ah, it’s a pleasure to hear from you.
(Q – Doctor Jones: and my nickname is Doctor Jones, but the original one, from 1993. So I had the pleasure of ordering your work, the secret notebooks. And I received, I was surprised to receive with it, the 989 card that you had reissued.)
MB : Yes, it was a moment when I felt magnanimous, I wanted to offer it to everyone.
(Q – Doctor Jones: Well it’s nice with the little owl and everything is a bit of a collector’s item. I have a simple question, with this card, you kindly offered,
I my question was do you think it is possible to decipher all the riddles, to actually find the owl with the map you provided?)
MB : Oh. The card for me, so I'm the same, in terms of terminology there were big differences between what I was able to say about this card and what Max was able to say about it in his time. For me the map is indeed a tool.
It's something that we use, like a compass, like a ruler, like a compass, like whatever you want, and a protractor or something else, to carry out a manipulation, something that allows us to move forward in the resolution work that we have undertaken. So for me this map is a tool so to say that with this map we can discover everything, that does not seem to me to be a one, ... let's say an adapted formulation, but I think that this map has a certain usefulness in any case and we can say it this way in any case at the level of the first 9 puzzles.
And then indeed, the second card since I confirm, as I said earlier, that it does not seem useful to use a third, but in any case the second card, at a given moment, it will be very practical because the scale being much smaller, we actually see more things and that can be extremely useful in terms of the final resolution.
