09/01/2024 - Vocal n° 64 - 01:40 : SVS - Solution Verification System

(Q - Sarah: Happy birthday Michel.)

MB: Thank you, thank you, thank you. So what's more, at the moment I'm having a very extraordinary experience reading the solutions, that's the same. This is something that surprises me because in the end, I said it in the video but the fact of imposing a text limit means that everyone puts the maximum of things into the minimum of line and it is really a concentrate. It's very surprising and it allows me to pick up a lot of things in the way you work.
And for some they have been working for a very long time. Some tell me who they are in a few words, et cetera. So it’s a real discovery for me. It's a real discovery and I believe that, when we don't have the possibility to say so much, we go straight to the point and that's what I feel when reading the solutions. So very very nice experience for me too.

(Q - SaïdParis: Was the trick there or not then?)

MB: You try, you speak there, you try. Yeah, you don't complain anymore, that's it.

(Q - SaïdParis: When did I complain, Michel? No, yes, I complain often, but when did I complain?)

MB: Well I don’t know, after the verification system.

(Q - SaïdParis: I never complained about it, I simply said that normally, if we put together everything you said. You said that someone who finds the owl , he will never go through that, he will go directly And so I deduced that you put it in place to prevent certain people from wasting their time, their money, et cetera, but that the final goal is this. was not to allow someone to validate the correct one because you were sure the person would jump in their car and go digging.)

MB: I was sure of a lot of things at certain times and then as my experience grows, from exchanges with the community and from everything I read, my opinion evolves too. I remain convinced that when I read the solutions, I still remain fairly convinced that the person who has the right trigger will still validate it, but will perhaps not wait for my green light to go digging. This is what might happen, but…

(Q - SaïdParis: This is what I was going with in fact, quite simply.)

MB: No, but that's not what I mean. The solution system, I think also has an impact for those who use it. Some have submitted a lot of solutions, so there is a method which consists of several... Several people have submitted a lot of solutions, so they carry out a sort of sweeping over an area, which is a method. My point of view being that, if we stick to everything we have been able to exchange with each other, raking is not necessarily the way to get there. The solution, the real solution, the good solution does not really allow for a sweep. So when we feel that there are so many possibilities in the same area, there is a risk that we are not in the right place, that we are not in the right place in any case, or that we don't have the right ethics or we don't have the right logic.

(Q - Syn: But some would have sent different solutions, but always with the same pile.)

MB: No, but pile-ups which are in a very tight sector.

(Q - Syn: I was really talking about the same thing.)

MB: Ah, no, no, no.
