02/06/2024 - Vocal n° 69 - 1:44:30 30: Lingot d’Art – Sustain the place

(Q - Roc: I have a subject that would be light. We didn't hear your feelings about the Lyon meal in voice. We got it in writing, but it's always better to have things vocally. How did you like the evening??)
MB: Thank you for asking the question, because for me it is very important. At first, a bit as a provocation, no doubt, because we never repeat ourselves. I said, annual commemorations, orange vests, etc., are not my thing. And then, it seems a little outdated to me. And in reality, there, I went beyond all that. And if I make the comparison with the habit which had been adopted at the A2CO level of doing this annual commemoration, from April 23-24, which I find today a bit, which really even has a proven veteran aspect In my opinion. Conversely, I find that these meetings, where there are 20-30 people, where we calibrate on small groups, exactly like what I did earlier by opening this vocal with a few people and then gradually increasing. Which means that when I leave later, there will be exchanges that will take place between those who were there at the beginning and those who arrived later, which is much more interesting than having only people who will discuss what I said. There, you will be able to discuss what those who were there with me, the first 10 or 15 minutes of this vocal, will have captured. And in the same way, in these meetings with 20-30 people, I find that the exchanges are much more interesting because, people meet each other who have never met before, which is uncommon at the level of annual meetings. , it quickly becomes quite traditional and they're always the same, and then it's in one place and only once a year. So, the fact of diversifying the places, of diversifying the people, that seems to me to be something extremely interesting. And on a personal level, to answer your question Roc, I had a great time. I greatly appreciate these meetings. As much in the exchanges that I have directly with the owls, as in what I listen to and hear, what they say to each other, the comments they make to each other, in the way they have to get to know each other, to say to each other: we're happy, ah yeah you have that head, finally all these elements mean that I find the Discord version of the community, compared to what it was for a very long time on the A2CO, this Discord community is much more lively and these kinds of meetings bring it even more life and reality. So, I'm a fan of this type of meeting.

(Q - Roc: And the next one in Corrèze, has the date been set?)
MB: The date has not yet been set, but it will be soon. Then, it's the same, there will be a little surprise also in Corrèze. But I can't talk about it yet. When are you in France? Because I would like, at some point, if we could catch you, the Canadian. Impunity linked to distance is good, but when you find yourself in the lion's den, you will see what that gives.

(Q - ??: You're not the only one, Michel. There are a lot of us who want to get him.)
MB: We have to get this one.

(Q - Roc: I'll have to come with armor. Right?)
MB: It's quiet up there in its mirrors. But wait, let's melt it a little. Okay, when are you coming?

(Q - Roc: Well, I have leave between June 15 and August 12 perhaps, so that's my leave. So, I don't have anything set for the moment .)
MB: June 15, August 12.

(Q - Roc: But I'm going to talk about something else. Aladore knows a pretty nice place that contains a lot of buildings. Aladore, it's near, I've already forgotten the Maladrerie, Aladore. )
MB: La Maladrerie, where is Aladore?

(Q - Aladore: It's in Saint-Julien-du-Sault in fact, in 89.)
(Q - Roc: And we can easily rent rooms and beds and all that, right?)
(Q - Aladore: Yes, that's it.)
(Q - Gringos: There are plenty of lodges in Dabo and Michel hasn't been there yet. June 21, Dabo, that will remind you...)
MB: I would like to start with Dabo’s restaurant. I fantasize.

(Q - Gringos: Yes, but you only come with your mask and your glasses to Dabo.)
MB: Maybe wrongly, because I have no idea what it's worth, but I fantasize about this restaurant. Eat at the Chouette d'Or restaurant one day, anyway. Afterwards, I can die, I will have done everything.

(Q - Gringos: No, you could die when we film you doing a review at the BSM. There, it will be great. The most beautiful video that will go viral, in fact. We will put you in front of the BSM and we will do the reviews.)
MB: But why the BSM? I think there are extraordinary reviews to be made elsewhere. I know a few who…

(Q - Gringos: But no, there's only that there. There's only that, the 8000 measures, that's all there is. The Cold Case, we did it. The guy lived nearby, so... You know that well, and on June 21, go to Dabo, do you agree, Roc?)
(Q - Roc: Maybe, yes. It can be done.)
MB: We should send him the menu first, from the restaurant.

(Q - ??: He is waiting for us to open a kitty.)
(Q - Roc: No, no, don't worry.)
MB: Yes, Roch, where were we? So, you were talking about the Maladrerie, right? And what was Aladore saying?

(Q - Aladore: Yes, it is in Saint-Julien-du-Sault, indeed, there will be enough room to accommodate quite a few people. And those who want to camp around, they could also, why not, it can definitely be done.
(Q - Roc: Those would be affordable prices too, from what you told me.)
(Q - Aladore: Yes, yes.)
MB - We also have to go to the southwest once again. That's for sure. There's a lot of pressure on that side, so I hope we do it too.

(Q - Sylvain: Then Montpellier, Michel, one day Montpellier, it's obligatory.)
MB: Yes, with great pleasure. Montpellier.

(Q - SamSam: When is that? When is the date?)
MB: The date of what?

(Q - SamSam: There, you're talking about Saint-Julien-du-Sault, all that.)
MB: There is no date. The problem is that you have to set dates, you have to organize.
So with what we called the Strix Club, behind it, there are some extremely competent and dedicated people to organize this kind of thing.
So, we have a team that is there to organize everything. What we actually need is to set dates, to manage to organize this, knowing that we cannot do it every eight days or every month. That would be a lot, but there you go. I hope there will be a next meeting in Corrèze. Afterwards, if we have to do another one in the meantime, why not? There is no set date yet, so we are still quite flexible. The debates, the discussions, the proposals that there may be around meetings, you have to go through the Strix Club team and then say well here it is, I would like us to do, so everyone wants to do a meeting near his home, I can understand that, but we have to try to see according to the places, according to the more or less strategic areas so that people who are not too far away can come, etc. You have to try to spread yourself out a bit throughout the territory.

(Q - SamSam: Corrèze, is Corrèze close to you?)
MB: We did Paris, we did Lyon, Corrèze, it’s the asshole of the world. Nobody knows where it is.

(Q - SamSam: I often work there, so I often work there, I'm going there again tomorrow. So I wouldn't mind Corrèze. And Aladore, Saint-Julien- du-Sault, it's 30 minutes from my house, so that suits me too.)
MB: Yes, well, but afterward, I think we will learn a little to plan these things. We did it twice, it was a little bit, not completely improvised, but there you go, we wanted to see what it turned out. For me, the result is very convincing because honestly, it is even much better, for example, than what we did for the 30th anniversary, because when there are a hundred people, etc., it is not It's not the same atmosphere at all. It's nice, but it has nothing to do with it. I think it's good to have small meetings like that, one-off, here and there, so that everyone can come, in the same way that from time to time, we manage to have on the Discord people who have never spoken, who are speaking out. It's always a pleasure to hear them. And that's a bit the aim of these meetings scattered across the territory.
