01/06/2023 - Vocal n° 60 - 02:10:40 :40: Contemporary characters - Allusions and quotations - No impact

(Q - RD62: Can you come back to the contemporary side of the landmarks or characters?)

MB: Yes, what is there to say about that?

(Q - RD62: Well, I think that there are already things that have been mentioned on the contemporary side. So we didn't really know if it was the characters of the hunt or the landmarks .)

MB: You know, I think we are here making madit after madit, the contemporaries or the not contemporary, frankly we don't care, the religious or the not religious, frankly we don't care . There are a certain number of landmarks in this hunt, landmarks, elements which must be taken into consideration, which may be buildings. Max himself had said that there is no religion, but that does not exclude religious buildings. We say religious buildings, nothing else and so on. So contemporary or not contemporary characters, frankly we don't care. They have no role in the hunt, there are quotes that can be considered, there are allusions to certain authors, etc. The fact that they are contemporary or not, frankly they are not contemporary in the sense that I understand it in any case, but regardless, I would say that it has no impact on the hunt, on the progress of the hunting and on the outcome of the game. These are frankly…, for me these are diversions, digressions and diversions which were carried out more or less voluntarily by Max. Getting into debates like that is really initiating sterile debates which drown out the fish, which complicate things and the understanding we can have of the game. And so it's frankly pointless.

(Q - RD62: On the other hand, for us, it's a nice clarification, thank you.)

MB: So much the better, so much the better. That’s what I’m here for.

(Q - NLC: There are some who will smash the sentries, this owl will end up taking out at random.)

MB: No, it won't come out randomly. I have good reason to think that she won't be able to go out randomly.

(Q - ??: And the sentinel could be made on a piece of paper or not?)

MB: Sorry, sentries... I didn't understand the question... We're going to stop soon anyway, eh, because I've been here for hours and then we have to have pity on who is going to transcribe all this for us , eh.
